The ALOHA CR3W is hard at work planning for an AWESOME (and our second annual) "Ono Grindz" Luau in the Courtyard, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 12th, 2017, beginning at 7:30pm. We have reserved one of DC's prestine courtyards, complete with an enclosed party Penthouse to keep the party going regardless of the weather.
WHAT: A festive way to spend your Saturday evening, complete with tropical-themed cocktails, Hawaiian shirts/ALOHA attire, live-music, dancing, and a scenic courtyard backdrop. Catering will be provided by Chef Zach Ramos and Chef Sonny Acosta from Oahu, Hawaii.
WHY: In ancient times, Hawaiians held traditional feasts to mark special occasions—the birth of a child, a successful harvest, or a victorious battle were all reasons to honor the gods who showed them favor. Come help us celebrate the mixing of cultures in DC and Hawaii by starting off the month of August in style. Join us on August 12th, 2017 @ 7:30pm to support the continued rise of Hawaiian cuisine in DC.
